I'm a shitty blogger


I started a blog thinking it would force me to write/share everyday. Apparently I was wrong. Since I got a dog, my writing is on the backburner...anyway, I'd like to share a recipe that my mom gave me. It not only taste so fucking delicious, but it is super easy to make. I don't know why I don't make it more often. I just made it the other night for my man and impressed the shit out of him.

LINGUINE WITH WHITE CLAM SAUCE

Cook a pound of linguine. I prefer whole wheat--it's better for you than the white crap.

Throw the following in a large skillet:
1 large chopped onion (I cheat. Trader Joe's sells chopped up onion. Saves time and tears.)
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1/4 cup of butter
1/4 cup of olive oil
Cook until onion is tender.

Stir in:
1 cup fresh chopped up parsley
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 cup white cooking wine
2 cans of chopped clams with juice (For this I DON'T recommend Trader Joes. Their chopped clams aren't very good) 6 1/2 oz. cans

Simmer uncovered 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Serve over pasta. Sprinkle with fresh grated parmesan cheese. I actually like the shaved parmesan at Trader Joes. Enjoy! Or Don't! I don't give a shit!
