A week ago, I slept in my contacts and make-up--not something I usually do. My eyes really bothered me the next day to the point it distracted me from doing a good job on the radio show. I went to the doctor today and learned that I scratched my eyes. So no contacts for a week, just my Palin-esque glasses. I prefer wearing my contacts in public, but at least I now know I don't have some skanky eye disease.
I did a gig last Friday night with one of my favorite comedians, Anthony Hill. We performed at a historic venue, the Red Dog Saloon, in Virginia City, NV. What a cool town--check it out if you get a chance--you'll feel like you stepped back in time to the old West. We stayed at the Silver Queen Hotel, where Mark Twain once stayed. Antique furniture, no tv, and no phone. I loved it!
